Let’s grow an abundance together in Hull!
The Hull Growers’ Network is a new and exciting local network which aims to build a dynamic economy around local food in Hull. We are linking professional growers, allotment holders, home gardeners, community gardens, schools and colleges that are involved in growing food across Hull and East Yorkshire. By joining together as a network we can help each other through sharing skills, tools, labour, plants and have lots of fun! The Network will also be helping to coordinate the second Hull Harvest Feastival this October. At this event chefs, community groups, TimeBankers and volunteers will join together again to produce a delicious feast in Hull City centre made with donated, locally grown produce.
We have a number of roles for volunteers to join the Growers’ Network team. For Timebank members, there will be an option of getting paid in timebank credits for all time spent working on the network. These roles are described below.
