There are a couple of spare slots for tomorrow – ring 07816141169 to book one.
Invitation from Lausanne:
Hope you are all well and coping with these strange times. Saturday 19th September is the European Day of Sustainable Communities, and I would like to invite you to visit Constable Community Allotment for a guided tour of the site, when you will be able to see how the site is run using sustainable Permaculture principles. Have a look at the Roundhouse, the only one in Hull, and sample some of our tasty harvest!
Due to Covid 19 regulations these tours will be run in groups of 5 visitors maximum with your host making the obligatory 6. So, to keep it simple we will hold one tour at 11a.m then 12, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. If you are interested please could you book a time slot asap by ringing me. I wish it wasn’t so formal, but I’m sure you appreciate this is a sign of the times.
However, to try and inject some humour into your lives, it just so ‘appen’s, ooh, arr, that 19th September also do be International Talk like a Pirate day! So me hearties, if you want to come dressed as a Pirate, please feel free to do so, and you’re welcome to talk like a pirate as much as you want! The allotment could look better to be honest because lockdown has meant we have had to close to volunteers, but it’s still well worth a visit!
