Permaculture Ambassador for Hull area

The Permaculture Association appointed Lausanne Tranter as Permaculture Ambassador for the Hull area from the beginning of 2014, as part of their Permaculture Ambassadors Programme. The aim of the programme is to promote permaculture and share information on projects and developments.

She has completed the Introduction to Permaculture course and the Permaculture Design course, obtaining the Certificate in Permaculture Design. She is currently studying on the Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design course.


Transition & Permaculture Days 

These have been held annually for the last few years, with the exception of 2020 because of covid restrictions. They are held at Constable Community Allotment in the summer. Here are some pictures from a year when the sun shone!

Transition & Permaculture Hull has an email mailing list which is a good way to find out what is going on locally. The emphasis is on environmental projects, developments and issues in Hull and the adjacent areas of East Yorkshire. To join the email list send a message via the contact form on this website. There are as yet no Learning and Network Demonstration (LAND) sites, as approved by the Permaculture Association, in the Hull area. However there are a number of sites being developed by people interested in Permaculture. Transition & Permaculture Hull has visited a number of sites in recent years including those listed below.
